Privacy Policy
Chamomile Baby is fully compliant with the Data Protection Act 1988 (as amended) and is committed to ensuring your privacy is properly protected. This policy sets out how we gather, store, use and make secure any information that you give us when you use the Website.
We collect the following information from you: name; address – both for billing and delivery; e-mail and phone number; payment card and details. In addition, as with many websites, we use cookies; files placed on a computer’s hard drive which record how you view and use a particular website. Cookies do not give us access to any information on your computer or to any information about you other than that which you choose to share with us.
Web browsers normally automatically accept cookies but should you wish to prevent this happening, go to the Help menu on your toolbar and alter your browser settings.
We use the information we have gathered to process your order, to keep our own internal records, to contact you from time to time to carry out market research or to advise you of, among other things, new products or services or promotions; and, from analysis of the overall viewing and usage of our web pages, to modify and improve the Website.
In order to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure or misuse of your information, we have put in place suitable security procedures.
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. This makes it impossible for any third party to access.
Whilst we transmit the entire card number to the appropriate card company during order processing, we reveal only the last five digits when issuing an order acknowledgement or in the context of any other correspondence with you.
We also maintain other physical and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection and storage of your information.
We will not disclose, sell, distribute or lease your personally identifiable information to third parties unless we have your express written permission to do so. We will not disclose your information unless we have legitimately been asked to provide information for legal or regulatory purposes, or to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights in connection with fraud prevention or credit risk reduction.
You may, of course, request details of personal information which we hold about you. Please make any such request in writing.
This Privacy Policy does not cover any other website including those for which we may have provided links, since we have no control over them.
